He urged the EU to “finally take concrete responsibility for governing the phenomenon of migration in order to rescue it from human traffickers”. The Italian president, Sergio Mattarella, said the “umpteenth tragedy in the Mediterranean shouldn’t leave anyone indifferent”. ![]()
